About

KazokuAina Resources [KA] was established with the mission of fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and the Muslim communities of Malaysia and Indonesia.Our founder, Khairil, was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is a devout Muslim. After graduating from Okayama University of Science in Japan, he dedicated several decades to reducing traffic fatalities and serious injuries in Southeast Asia by collaborating with Japanese automobile manufacturers, governments, and universities across the region. He served as a senior official in the Malaysian government in this field and retired from the position last year.Having lived in Japan for many years and made many friends through his professional career, Khairil had long wished to contribute to strengthening the bonds between Japan and Muslim societies in Malaysia and Indonesia. He has visited Mecca multiple times and holds the honorable title of Haji as well as the religious certification of Qibla direction advisor. He is also recognized as a Dato by the Pahang's Sultanate of Malaysia.The number of visitors to Japan from Malaysia and Indonesia has been increasing every year, with over 70,000 visitors from Malaysia and 500,000 from Indonesia last year alone. There is even greater potential for tourism, education, and business exchange between Japan and these two Muslim-majority countries. In order to achieve this, it is essential to build a welcoming, comfortable environment for Muslim visitors in Japan.KazokuAina Resources [KA] is committed to promoting these connections and supporting Muslim-friendly initiatives in Japan.
